This intensive acting workshop will utilize the tools and principles developed by Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and William Esper at the Esper Studio in NYC. The actors will start the workshop with the repetition improvisation exercise aimed at building a truthful acting instrument, learning to work from your impulses, and creating spontaneous emotional reactions to what is happening to you in the moment - Acting in the Moment. The actors will then focus exclusively on scene work. Actors will explore the fundamental tools of the Meisner Technique to craft a scene (Objectives, Actions, Paraphrasing, etc). A step by step approach - from the first contact to performance. Acting is Doing.

Participants will be assigned scenes and matched with a partner to work with or can submit a scene for approval if they wish to work with a fellow participant (in English).
