The Danish Actors' Association (DSF) is a trade union of:
- actors
- opera singers
- dancers
- choreographers
- Musical performers
DSF was founded in 1904 as one of the first professional actors’ associations in the world.
As a trade union, it is the purpose of DSF to protect the interests of its members in a wide area:
- Agreements on payment and employment conditions on the theatres, radio, film, and television.
- Protection of the performing artists’ work through legislation and agreements.
- Initiatives in regard to cultural policy to improve the conditions for the artistic work.
- Protection of the social and educational needs of the members.
